Friday, March 28, 1-4pm or

Saturday, March 29, 10am-1pm

Start “mending your own business”!  Visible mending is fun and functional; learn how to use your scraps, exercise your creativity, and mend your clothes.  In this second class, you’ll be learning darning techniques for knits and woven.  Feel free to bring in any fingering or thinner weight yarn, flosses, and you can always use our selections.  Bring your knit or woven fabric garment with holes, stains, or signs of wear that you’d like to patch.  Sweaters, shirts, jeans, jackets, pants, skirts, and shirts from knit or woven fabric would be perfect.  Don’t have something to mend but still interested…you can make a making a darning sampler from shop fabric. If you have questions about what to bring in, call the shop at 818-957-2287.

Your $10 reservation fee will be applied to your supplies for this class.
