Beginning Sewing
Beginning sewing is part of our Summer Sewing School 6 week program. It will be held June 9th- July 26th (excluding the week of July 4th).
Level: Absolute Beginner
In this course you will learn the basics starting with how to operate a sewing machine and then you'll learn tips and techniques that you can apply in garment sewing, home dec, and quilt making. You will create your own apron, tote bag & pin cushion in this course.

Intro to Garment Making
Intro to Garment Making is part of our Summer Sewing School 6 week program. It will be held June 9th- July 26th (excluding the week of July 4th). Must have beginning sewing experience. If you've never sewn before enroll in our Beginning Sewing Class.
Level: Beginner - Prior sewing experience required. If you're brand new to sewing please enroll in our Beginning Sewing class.

Teen Sewing
Teen Sewing is part of our Summer Sewing School 6 week program. It will be held June 9th- July 26th (excluding the week of July 4th).

My First Patchwork Quilt
My First Patchwork Quilt is part of our Summer Sewing School 6 week program. It will be held June 9th- July 26th (excluding the week of July 4th). Must have beginning sewing experience. If you've never sewn before enroll in our Beginning Sewing Class.
Level: Beginner
Learn the timeless art of patchwork quilting. No need to cut anything; you'll be working with pre-cut squares. You'll create a lap sized quilt top and then we'll longarm quilt it for you for FREE! You'll finish the quilt with a simple binding technique.

Sashiko Stitching
Sashiko Stitching is part of our Summer Sewing School 6 week program. It will be held June 9th- July 26th (excluding the week of July 4th).
Level: Beginner - no prior hand sewing experience required
If you've ever wanted to create beautiful, geometric Sashiko designs this is the class for you! You'll start simple and then work your way up to more complex patterns. Lana will show you how to create a grid and then stitch out your designs. At the end of class, you'll get ideas on how sew your designs onto a tote, envelope pillow, or small quilt.

Intro to Paper Piecing
Foundation Paper Piecing can seem intimidating or counter-intuitive at first glance, but understanding this technique can open a world of patchwork patterns ranging from letters to intricate, illustrated designs. Students will start with a simple block and build skills each week to finish 6 blocks to create a small sampler or table topper (with enough fabric to make extras).
Level: Intermediate-must have experience cutting with a rotary cutter mat and ruler and sewing simple quilts.

Intro to Upholstery
Introduction to Upholstery Sewing is part of our Summer Sewing School 6 week program. It will be held June 9th- July 26th (excluding the week of July 4th).
Level: Intermediate - Prior machine sewing experience required. If you are new to sewing please enroll in our Beginning Sewing class.
Have you wanted to sew your own pillows and cushions for your home and backyard? Chris will show you how to make a tie-on seat cushion and a throw pillow. You'll learn how to insert both lapped and invisible zippers, create a foam insert, and sew piping.
The enrollment fee includes all fabric, supplies, and use of our machines and tools.

Level: Intermediate - must have experience cutting with a rotary cutter mat and ruler and sewing simple quilts or garments. If you haven't made a simple quilt or simple garment before, please take our Introduction to Garment Sewing or Patchwork Quilting class.

Sew a Classic Button Down Shirt
Sewing a Button Down Shirt is part of our Summer Sewing School 6 week program. It will be held June 9th- July 26th (excluding the week of July 4th). Must have prior garment sewing experience. If you are new to garment sewing please take our Beginning Garment Construction class.
Level: Intermediate/Advanced - prior garment sewing experience required. If you're new to garment sewing, please take our Intro to Garment Sewing class.
