Intro to Garment Making

Intro to Garment Making is part of our Summer Sewing School 6 week program. It will be held June 9th- July 26th (excluding the week of July 4th).  Must have beginning sewing experience.  If you've never sewn before, enroll in our Beginning Sewing Class.

Level: Beginner - Prior sewing experience required.  If you're brand new to sewing please enroll in our Beginning Sewing class.

Come learn the basics of garment sewing.  The class will focus on how to create a simple shirt and you'll learn how to choose your size, select and prepare fabric, and follow a pattern.  Darcy will show you how to sew and finish seams, create and apply bias binding, and finally hem your shirt so you have a finished garment to wear!  Finish early and create a matching scrunchie!  

The enrollment fee includes all fabric, supplies, and use of our machines and tools. 

Class Policies

*Class reservations must equal 2 students, if we do not have enough participants we will notify you and reschedule your course. 

*Classes are NON REFUNDABLE! If we can find a replacement for your spot we will issue a refund minus a $25 service fee.

Wearing protective masks is optional at this time. As always, if you are feeling sick, please stay home.
