September: Your Hero Print
Putting It All Together

This is the month we bring everything together. We'll use the carving, composition, and texture skills from earlier in the year to design and print a bold, statement piece — your hero print. Think of it as the anchor of a collection: the print with the most presence, the one everything else would be designed around. You'll leave with a finished piece you're proud of and a clearer sense of your own printmaking voice.

This class stands on its own — no previous sessions required.

This class builds on our previous workshops but is open to beginners as well. 

All inks, and fabric are included with the registration fee.
Students will need a 4x6 in. carving block for this workshop. Blocks are available for purchase in class for $7.50 - $10, or you may bring your own.

This year-long block printing series introduces students to the art of hand-carved block printing on fabric through a progressive, skill-building approach. Over twelve monthly, three-hour classes, students will learn core printmaking techniques while creating custom fabrics that can be incorporated into sewing projects such as tote bags, wall hangings, and home décor.

Class Policies

Our classes support the fabric and supplies we carry and we purchase fabric and merchandise to support our classes. Our policy is to have students purchase their fabric and supplies at our studio.

Currently wearing a protective mask is optional during our classes. We are a small studio and work in close proximity with one another. As always, if you are feeling sick please stay home.
