Sewing with Quilted Fabric is part of our Summer Sewing School 6 week program. It will be held June 9th- July 26th (excluding the week of July 4th). I
Level: Intermediate - must have experience cutting with a rotary cutter mat and ruler and sewing simple quilts or garments. If you haven't made a simple quilt or simple garment before, please take our Introduction to Garment Sewing or Patchwork Quilting class. This class is for adults.
Lana will show you how to make a stylish reversible vest using pre-quilted fabric from our beautiful shop collection. Included is how to sew and apply continuous bias binding and ties. Then Chris will teach you how to make this popular structured tote. You'll choose and quilt your own fabric and utilize contrasting bias to make a professional looking bag.
The enrollment fee includes longarm services, all fabric, *supplies, and use of our machines and tools. (*we will send you a link to purchase and download the vest pattern).
Class Policies
*Class reservations must equal 2 students, if we do not have enough participants we will notify you and reschedule your course.
*Classes are NON REFUNDABLE! If we can find a replacement for your spot we will issue a refund minus a $25 service fee.
Wearing protective masks is optional at this time. As always, if you are feeling sick, please stay home.
