Beginning Sewing, Beginning Garment Construction, and  Beginning Quilt Making  Monday, June 22 – Friday, July 10


Class Times are 10am-2:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with a half-hour lunch break.
Courses are limited to 6-8 students and enrollment is first come, first served.

The ENTIRE PROGRAM will run for 3 weeks and is $4,200 (with an additional non-refundable $75 reservation fee).  Signing up for the ENTIRE PROGRAM will save you over $500!

 Quilt'n'Things Teacher Training Academy 

For the last 40+ years Quilt'n'Things has been providing classes for hobbyists, but now we are offering a program for those who wish to step into teaching and the entrepreneurial side of sewing! 


What You'll Get:

60 hours of in-studio, hands on lessons focusing on a pedagogical, learner-centered approach to teaching sewing

✓Complete, structured sewing curriculum for teaching the course in which you’re enrolled: Beginning Sewing, Beginning Garment Construction, or Beginning Quilt Making

The patterns, fabric, and notions to complete each project  (*for Beginning Quiltmaking you’ll need to own or purchase the required rotary cutter, mat, and rulers)

Peer practice of instructional techniques

Information on how to purchase fabric, source supplies, and price materials and courses

Certificates of Completion upon finishing each week of training

Teacher discount for bulk purchasing teaching materials from Quilt’n’Things

Class Policies:

Wearing protective masks is optional.  We are a small studio and work in close proximity to one another.  As always, if you are feeling sick please stay home.
