Hem It!
Let's practice different ways of hemming garments!
In this class, you'll learn a few hemming techniques. We will cover how to sew "The Hollywood Hem" for jeans and also how to hand-sew an invisible hem for trousers. We will go over a regular machine hem and a cuffed hem if time allows. You will practice on fabric samples which will be included in the class, but be sure to bring something from your closet that needs to be re-hemmed! You'll be able to work on that in class!

Bring:
Basic sewing supplies: pins, marking tools, thread to match your garment that needs a hem, fabric shears

Sam is an industry professional who currently works in the costume department on the daytime tv show “The Young and the Restless” creating and altering wardrobe for the actors making the fit of their clothes just perfect! 
Just bring in your garments that need adjusting, matching thread, and basic sewing supplies.

Class Policies:

Our classes support the fabric and supplies we carry and we purchase fabric and merchandise to support our classes. Our policy is to have students purchase their fabric and supplies at our studio.

This class is non-refundable

Wearing protective masks is optional.  We are a small studio and work in close proximity to one another.  As always, if you are feeling sick please stay home.
