Draft and Sew a Full Circle Skirt with Pockets!

In this 2 part class, you will learn how to draft your own custom pattern according to your waist size for a full-circle knee-length skirt. Make it extra fun and whimsical by choosing 4 coordinating fabrics like we used in our sample! From your drafted pattern, you will cut and sew your skirt pieces together, adding side-seam pockets, waistband, and installing kam snaps to finish your skirt.

Prior to the start of class #1, you must purchase your 4 yards of fabrics (either 4 yards or 1 yd of each of 4 different fabrics) from the studio. 

Class #1: Learn how to draft your custom pattern, cut your fabrics, and begin constructing your vertical seams and pockets. *Homework may be necessary to finish these steps in order for your skirt to hang overnight. 

Class #2 - Sew on your waistband, hem your skirt and add snaps in the back.

Class Policies:

Our classes support the fabric and supplies we carry and we purchase fabric and merchandise to support our classes. Our policy is to have students purchase their fabric and supplies at our studio.

This class is non-refundable

Wearing protective masks is optional.  We are a small studio and work in close proximity to one another.  As always, if you are feeling sick please stay home.
