You know how I love the 60’s and 70’s and thinking we could use some peace and love these days!  We’ll also have different themes from which to choose.  Learn different applique and sewing techniques, how to incorporate different media and fabric types in your jacket creations, and how to embellish pockets and the unique features on your jeans jacket! Bring your own jacket and we have kits that include the patches, fabric, buttons, and everything you’ll need.  You’ll learn a variety of both machine and applique stitches.  This class is appropriate for confident beginners who have proficiency in how to operate a sewing machine.  Hand sewing skills are helpful, but we’ll teach you the stitches you’ll need to know.  Sewing machines provided.

This is a 5-hour class with a break. Kits are $42.99(Sew Local Studio members get 15% off) Bring your own jacket.

Class Policies

Our classes support the fabric and supplies we carry and we purchase fabric and merchandise to support our classes. Our policy is to have students purchase their fabric and supplies at our studio.

Classes are non-refundable, however if you cancel prior to 5 days in advance and we can fill your spot, we will issue you credit towards a subsequent class. Private lessons can be rescheduled once due to sickness or emergency, but repeated cancellations are non-refundable. 

Wearing protective masks is optional.  We are a small studio and work in close proximity to one another.  As always, if you are feeling sick or please stay home.
