Quilt 'N' Things Fall Sewing School!

Get creative this fall at Quilt ’N’ Things Fiber Arts Fall Sewing School, running September 14 through October 10! Whether you’re brand new to sewing or ready to take your skills to the next level, our next set of seasonal classes offer hands-on instruction, creative projects, and a welcoming community for makers of all ages and experience levels!!

Choose from a variety of classes designed to help you build confidence and expand your sewing and quilting skills:

  • Beginning Garment Making: Learn the foundations of garment sewing, from taking measurements and cutting patterns to construction and finishing. You will be making a simple top and pair of pants!

  • Intermediate Garment Sewing: Take your garment-making skills further with darts, zippers, sleeves, pockets, gathering, hemming, and fit adjustments while creating a simple dress and pair of pants. You will be making a more involved top, and pair of pants!

  • Beyond the Quilt: Patchwork Garments: Transform traditional quilting techniques into stylish skirts, pants, and dresses while learning to adapt patterns and create one-of-a-kind patchwork garments.

  • Quilt Making by Hand: Discover the art of hand quilting while learning hand piecing, appliqué, English Paper Piecing, and Manx quilting techniques as you create a sampler quilt top.

  • Intro to Quilting: New to quilting? Learn accurate cutting, piecing, quilting, and binding while making a quilted pillow, baby quilt, wall hanging, or table topper. Explore multiple quilting and binding techniques with hands-on guidance.

Whether you want to sew your own clothes, learn to quilt, explore handwork, or simply spend more time creating, Fall Sewing School is the perfect opportunity to learn something new and connect with fellow makers.
