If you've ever been curious how to make one of these cushy quilts, join us! We've seen a huge resurgence of interest in Puff Quilts and we're delighted to have guest teacher, MacKenzie Cleveland, teach us this time honored quilt making technique. It's super versatile for fabric requirements; use scraps, fat quarters, 10" stackers or charm squares. THIS IS A SCRAP FRIENDLY CLASS! Feel free to use scraps or precuts from your stash! Purchase your background and stuffing at the shop. The Puff Quilt is a 2-part class and we'll schedule the second class at the end of the first.
MacKenzie is a costumer in the entertainment industry who sews for fun. She learned to sew in theatre classes in college and kept going afterwards on her mom's 1970's Kenmore machine. She loves vintage silhouettes, nerdy fandoms, novelty prints, mash-up costumes, and the smiles that come from gifting a quilt. We're delighted to have her as our guest teacher at the shop!
Class Policies
Our classes support the fabric and supplies we carry and we purchase fabric and merchandise to support our classes. Our policy is to have students purchase their fabric and supplies at our studio.
Classes are non-refundable, however if you cancel prior to 5 days in advance and we can fill your spot, we will issue you credit towards a subsequent class. Private lessons can be rescheduled once due to sickness or emergency, but repeated cancellations are non-refundable.
Wearing protective masks is optional. We are a small studio and work in close proximity to one another. As always, if you are feeling sick or please stay home.
