They’re ba-a-ack! Do you remember these skirts from the 70’s? I made one with my mom in high school!
In this 2 day workshop you’ll learn how to make a custom skirt based on your own measurements. Darcy will guide you through all the steps of planning and sewing your skirt, including how to gather seams seams, and proper finishing techniques. This fun skirt can be made with a variety of fabrics,-- we love the Tilda quilting cotton, but it would be lovely in cotton lawn or poplin!
Supplies:
Sewing machine in working order
Basic sewing supplies (pins, seam ripper, scissors or snips, marking tools, etc).
Fabric Cutting Scissors
Rotary Cutter
Large Ruler
Gathering foot for your machine (optional, but suggested)
*Skirt pattern
*Pattern Tracing Paper
*Fabric according to your garment size
*Available to purchase at the shop on the first day of class.
CLASS POLICIES
Cancellation Policy
Classes are non-refundable. However, if we are able to fill your spot your enrollment fee can be applied to a subsequent class.
COVID -19 Policy
Classes are open to fully vaccinated individuals. We follow CDC guidelines for mask wearing and are currently limiting attendance to 4 people. If you are feeling sick or feverish we appreciate you staying home.
Returns Policy
We do not accept returns for cut fabric, patterns, books, knitting needles, crochet hooks, and any opened items. We offer a full refund on any products that were sold damaged or defective. The shop only covers shipping charges for returned damaged/defective products.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Shipping
We ship most orders domestically throughout the United States for a flat rate of $7.95. Exceptions include SEW to GO boxes, which we ship domestically for $12.95, and Eversewn sewing machines, which include free shipping.
