To celebrate Earth Day, we’re offering a super sustainable sewing class with Vicki. Learn how to create this quilt with a minimal environmental footprint! You can literally do this technique with three things…your hand, a needle & thread, and fabric! Feel free to sneak in a couple more tools like pins, scissors, and a rotary cutter & ruler to modernize this process! The Manx quilting tradition originates in the Isle of Man and this block is akin to our Log Cabin block. Manx has become quite popular here in the states and is the perfect project to use up those scraps. We’ll provide a kit with the background fabric, some shop scraps, and a needle and thread. You’ll need to bring your own hand (and some favorite scraps too)!
Supplies:
We’ll have a kit available for purchase with background fabric, needle & thread, and some shop scraps
Your favorite scraps
Fabric scissors
Rotary cutter, mat, and ruler (optional)
CLASS POLICIES
Cancellation Policy
Classes are non-refundable. However, if we are able to fill your spot your enrollment fee can be applied to a subsequent class.
COVID -19 Policy
Classes are open to fully vaccinated individuals. As we are a small studio, we ask that our students wear protective masks and are currently limiting attendance to 4 -6 people. If you are feeling sick or feverish we appreciate you staying home.
Returns Policy
We do not accept returns for cut fabric, patterns, books, knitting needles, crochet hooks, and any opened items. We offer a full refund on any products that were sold damaged or defective. The shop only covers shipping charges for returned damaged/defective products.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Shipping
We ship most orders domestically throughout the United States for a flat rate of $7.95. Exceptions include SEW to GO boxes, which we ship domestically for $12.95, and Eversewn sewing machines, which include free shipping.
