Create a garden themed textile collage using fabric collage, wood block printing, kantha as well as other stitching techniques. Anne learned block printing techniques and production in India and was inspired to design her own blocks. You’ll learn how to combine print, collage, and creative stitching to create a uniquely personal textile art piece. Use a selection of Anne and Lana’s wooden blocks or bring your own printing blocks or rubber stamps. Students will also receive a swatch pack that includes bits and pieces from Anne’s personal stash and traditional trims and textiles from Lana’s visit to India.
