Classes can be private or semi-private; we’ll work with your time and schedule, and you can work at your own pace.  Located in the foothills of the Angeles Crest mountains, we offer a fully equipped sewing studio with a view of the mountains!  Bring your machine or use one of ours. Price is $395 for one; $592.50 for two!

• Whatever Happened to Home Ec? – Learn sewing the way they used to teach it…in Home Ec class! We’ll teach you basic sewing skills through making simple projects like napkins, placemats, aprons, scarves, pillows, tote bags and more!  Choose from our selection of retro, contemporary, or seasonal fabric.  This is a great class for those of you who love nostalgia and making homemade gifts!  We’ll share a bit about the history of sewing and how it’s changed over the years!

• Make a T-shirt Quilt – If you enjoy re-using and repurposing, this is a great project where you’ll learn how to turn those t-shirts into a quilt! T-shirt quilts offer a wonderful way to preserve both your special shirts and your experiences! They’re also a great way to wrap yourself up in memories of home for those going off to college!  We’ll teach you basic block piecing techniques to create the quilt top and then our Longarm machine does the quilting!

• The Timeless Art of Patchwork Quilting – Learn about the history of quilting, both past and present, while making your first patchwork quilt. We’ll teach you how to accurately sew a crib sized quilt, and you may just catch the quilting bug!

• Sew Your Own Wardrobe – Have you wanted to create your own clothes but don’t know where to begin? We offer the perfect program to kick start your me-made wardrobe!  Learn about the resurgence of sewing your own clothing, why it’s so popular, where to go for inspiration, and ethical reasons why consumers are moving away from fast fashion.
