When Fabric Talks!
As a shop and sewing studio owner, I'm surrounded by fabric all day. We talk. Sometimes I tell my bolts what I want to make from them and other times, they tell me what they wants to be. It can be a whisper, sometimes a suggestion, but Fableism's Fine & Dandy line made a demand. Its plaids and patterned checks, along with it's 5" charm friends, shouted they wanted to be a quilt where the patterns would do the work. They were ready and willing to do the heavy lifting. I pieced them all together, busily and quickly answering their commands. After finishing, I had to give this human textile collaboration a name...I thought, I looked, then I found it...
